4/1/17 Game Notes: Uncommitted 2017 RHP at 6'7" 215 pounds. Big bodied, RHP started game 2 on the mound for New Castle. Sat 83-85mph with the FB, touching 86 throughout the game, going 6 innings giving up 5 H's, 3 ER's, striking out 3 and walking 1. Threw slider at 73 mph and changeup at 70. Slowed the arm and body up on the changeup, mostly used the FB/SL mix. Big over the top arm action, with easy delivery that got downhill tilt and created a lot of ground balls early when ball was heavy and down in the strike zone. FB had sink early and flattened out late. Needs to engage and use more in the lower half down the mound, stays tall throughout the delivery and finishes tall.
