SO OF Dylan Coty (Merrillville) stood out in the workout with an athletic toolset. He started his day off by cruising to a 6.82 in the 60, pairing it with sure-handed actions and footwork in the outfield. His arm is plenty strong, topping out at 91 mph from a crow hop with life and carry. The right-handed hitter worked to stay on top of the baseball throughout his round, working on the barrel with a max EV of 94.1 mph. He looks to be one of the top returning bats for the Cavs as well, hitting his way to a .320 average a season ago in 175 at-bats with 12 doubles, four triples and 24 stolen bases.
