Tyler Jaynes is a 2027 LHP/OF with a lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame and two-way upside. On the mound, Jaynes works exclusively from the stretch with an athletic, inward-turn lift into a drop-and-drive delivery. His loose, full arm action creates a fastball that sits 79–83 mph (T84) with arm-side action. The breaking ball mix features a 70–73 mph curveball (up to 2054 rpm) and a 71–72 mph sweeping slider, while the changeup is a quality offering with heavy fade and separation from the fastball. Command is still developing. His 87 mph arm from the outfield is his best present tool, and the athleticism carries to the box as well. The left-handed hitter uses a toe-tap stride and uphill swing to generate power, flashing a 92 mph exit velocity. Jaynes posted a 7.16 60-yard dash and an impressive 24” vertical, signaling explosive traits and continued projection.
