9/25/16 - Max FB: 81, FB: 78-79, CB: 66-69, CH: 70-73,
5-foot-11, 185-pound RHP showed similar velocity as in the past, uses long arm action through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort, pounds the strike zone with all pitches, fastball consistently located down in the zone, has good feel for curveball with 11/5 shape and some depth, changeup showed occasional cutting action on this occasion as he tended to get around it. Blake committed to Spalding University following the event.

5-foot-11, 185-pound RHP uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with regular effort, showed similar velocity as previous winter event, fastball shows arm-side run and some sink that produced consistent ground ball contact, mixed in a fairly sharp curveball with 11/5 action that he threw for strikes, showed one changeup that was thrown with good arm speed and had some deception off the fastball, shows ability to fill up the zone with quality strikes, allowed one hit, and produced six ground ball outs in his two innings of work.

5-foot-11,185-pound RHP showed slightly better velocity at fall event (up to 82). Uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with regular effort in delivery, fastball shows some sink and thrown for consistent strikes, shoed better feel for curveball from the stretch as it displayed solid 11/5 action, changeup showed some late tumbling action at the bottom of the strike zone.
10/11/15 - 5-foot-11, 175 pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, maintains good balance through contact, stays quiet with a simple approach that produced consistent line drives in BP, good feel for the barrel, ran a 7.80 60, 72 mph exit velocity (74 previous event) went 1-for-3 in game play with a single to left field. Shows soft defensive hands, high-3/4 release with accurate throws, demonstrates good body control, 78 mph velocity across the infield.
On the mound, 5-foot-11, 175-pound RHP showed a slight increase in velocity from summer event, uses long arm action through a high-3/4 slot, regular effort with good tempo, throws a heavy fastball that sat 78-81 mph topping at 82 with good late arm-side run and sink, shows good feel for 67-69 mph curveball with solid 11/5 action, stuck with the two-pitch mix and allowed three hits, no walks, and struck out one (looking on CB) in his two innings of work.
6/30/15 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound RHP uses long arm action and works though a high-3/4 arm slot with regular effort, works both sides of the plate well with fastball/curveball mix (showed changeup only in warm ups), fastball sat 77-80 mph topping at 81, curveball is a solid pitch with sharp 11/5 action at 66-67 mph, velocity was a significant increase from last fall, allowed one hit, one walk, and struck out three (one looking on FB, two swinging on CB’s) in his two innings of work, shows good pitchability.
10/4/14 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 arm slot, arm is loose and works cleanly, good rhythm in delivery with regular effort, drop and drive type delivery, stays online, fastball sat 74-77 mph and shows occasional arm-side run, establishes the inner part of the plate with the fastball, 65-67 mph curveball showed sharp 11/5 action, allowed two hits (including a bunt single), hit a batter, and struck out two in his one inning of work, good upside, expect to see velocity gains moving forward.  As a position player, right-handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, displays good balance, line drive type hitter, gap to gap approach, took a good round of batting practice consistently squaring up the baseball, posted a 4.89 home to first time, 74 mph exit velocity off the tee, made contact in all of his trips to the plate going 0-for-4 and reaching base once on an error in CF.  Defensively, shows soft hands, good feet around the first base bag, 64 mph arm strength across the infield.
