2/12/17 - Max FB: 86, FB: 83-85, CB: 74-78, CH: 77-78
7/6/16 - Max FB: 86, FB: 85-86, CB: 73-74
6-foot-3, 165-pound RHP with big upside in long and lanky frame. Arm action is loose and works through a high-3/4 slot with minimal effort, fastball shows late arm-side run and sinking action, scattered command of curveball but the good ones are sharp with 11/5 and 12/6 shape and has the potential to be a swing and miss pitch, allowed one hit, walked one, and struck out one (fastball looking) in his one inning outing. LaBarbera is one of the more projectable RHP’s in the 2018 class.
2/13/16 - 60 Time: 6.95, Position Velocity:  IF-76, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-3, 165-pound RHH significantly improved all measurables from fall event, hits from a balanced stance, mid-length stride, slight wrap in load, loose hands, took a good round of BP and showed the ability to generate some lift, could develop more consistent power with added strength. Shows soft hands with average footwork around the bag, good arm strength from a high-3/4 release, accurate throws.
10/11/15 - 6-foot-3, 165 pound RHP with highly projectable frame, uses long arm action through a high-3/4 slot, deliberate delivery with minimal effort, arm is loose and projects for more velocity, stays tall and uses leverage well to create downward angle on fastball, fastball sat 78-82 mph, throws 70-71 mph with good arm speed and shows good feel for the pitch that displays 11/5 action, good arm action on 74-75 mph changeup that is mostly straight, struck out two in first inning of work, lost some command in second inning, has potential to be a high-level 2018 prospect. As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, mid-length stride, involves lower half and shows flashes of gap power, ran a 7.20 60-yard dash, 76 mph exit velocity, went 0-for-4 in game play with one strikeout. Shows soft hands, average footwork around the bag, 72 mph velocity across the infield, accurate throws.
