7/23/14 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect is one of the top young left-handed pitching prospects in the state, uses long arm action and works through a high ¾ slot, fastball mostly straight and sat 82-84 mph (topped at 87 a week later at Future Games), showed a curveball with 2/8 action at 65-66 mph that he registered two back-foot strikeouts with to right-handed hitters, throws a 74-76 mph changeup with good arm speed that tended to be up in the zone, attacks hitters well, high-level potential.
7/15/14 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect, showcased good arm strength for age at 84 mph with carry while playing through the baseball well. At the plate, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, good use of strong lower half, creates some lift with occasional pull-side power, ran 7.37 60 yard dash, showed present bat speed for age with 84 mph tee exit velocity.
