2/16/14 - 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect, uses long arm action through a ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 83-85 mph touching 86, lost some fastball velocity from the stretch at 80-81 mph, throws a hard curveball at 72-75 mph with late bite, good command of 80-81 mph changeup that is straight, changeup would benefit from more velocity difference off fastball, interesting prospect on the mound with two-way ability as 3B/left-handed power bat.

2/16/14 - 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect with good corner size, shows soft hands and good lateral movement, accurate arm across the infield with good carry at 79 mph.  At the plate, the left-handed hitter shows a strong swing with good power, uphill path generates significant lift, hands are quick and consistently gets the barrel on the baseball, has the potential to be a power left-handed bat at the next level, ran 7.48 60 yard dash, showed big bat speed with 95 mph tee exit velocity, definite high follow in 2016 class.

8/25/13 - 6-foot-3, 202-pound prospect with strong legs, average corner actions, accurate arm across the infield at 78 mph.  At the plate, hits from a slightly open stance, short stride, strong lower half generates bat speed, foot gets down late at times, when on time shows some pull power, flashed bat speed with 91 mph tee exit velocity, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single, potential left-handed power bat in 2016 class, ran 7.41 60.

5/19/19: Athletic for his size at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Wyatt has a simple swing from the left side. Sets up tall in the back of the box with the bat resting on his back shoulder. Took a longer stride with a small hand load. Created fair separation. The timing of his load and stride were not in sync, causing the bat to become stagnant and lose some efficiency. Swing lacked barrel whip due to his bat angle and reduced his bat speed. Maintained a level head with good balance throughout. Very quiet in the box, stays back nicely and gets slotted well. Hit against a firm front side and finished high with good extension. Very selective approach evidenced by both his current season (23.7%) and career (21.9%) walk rates. While his swing produces plus raw power in batting practice, getting to that power is a work-in-progress. A low ISO, both this season (.206) and for his career (.188) are concerning for a prospect who plays a position which demands power production. Comparables to Wyatt's offensive analytics are hard to find. However, one recent example of an early round college first baseman with a near .200 ISO and many more walks than strikeouts during his college career is Pavin Smith (Virginia, 1st round to Arizona in 2017). With just 15 home runs in 770 career minor league at-bats and a .132 ISO (including one full season in the hitter friendly California League), Smith has struggled so far in pro ball to get to his raw power. Wyatt moves well for someone his size, showing an athletic stride, but is a below average runner underway and well below down the line due to a long backswing finish. Defensively, he projects to be at least average at first base with sure hands and an average arm. (Seifert)

8/15/18At six-foot-four, 230 pounds Wyatt provides a large left-handed presence in the batter’s box. He was the same tough out in the Cape as seen earlier this spring- Scouting Trail: Week Four. He continued to produce big numbers this summer slashing .305/.458/.438 for Orleans. A selective hitter with a quiet approach, he utilizes a small load in his swing for fair separation and maintains good balance throughout. Showed a very compact swing in batting practice and became a bit longer in the game. Relies more on his size and strength than bat speed for plus raw power. Moves well fielding his position and running the bases, especially for someone his size. Profiles well to first base at the pro level, but a corner outfield spot on a part-time basis is also a possibility. A likely analytics favorite due to his combination of on-base and power production, Wyatt is on track to post a similar portfolio to recent first-rounder (28th overall) and fellow ACC left-handed hitter, Seth Beer. With another strong spring season and increased home run totals, Wyatt could be selected even a bit higher due to his superior defensive abilities and summer ball success. (Seifert)

3/14/18As always, the future looks bright for Louisville with underclassmen, especially with sophomores all over the diamond. The best among them was 1B Logan Wyatt who can swing it. He’s a 6’4/230 left-handed hitter with good plate discipline and power to all fields. Took competitive at bats the entire series. Average runner underway with an average and very accurate arm.
