True sophomore. Projectable 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame with room for added strength. Working from a higher release, the right-hander sat right in the 87-89 mph range with his fastball, playing with some carry through the zone. His curveball played at 72-74 mph with gradual 11/5 shape, flashing sharp action with depth when kept lower in the zone. Lastly, he went to a fading changeup at 83-84 mph, playing with over 15” of run consistently and reaching over 18” at times.
Body: 6-foot-5, 185-pound projectable athletic build.
Pitching: Projectable. Tall-and-fall delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, loose long arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands soft, a falling off finish.
FB: T85. 82-85 mph. (Max spin 2100; Avg 2042). Decent accuracy, slight action, heavy movement.
CB: 68-70 mph. Consistent control, swing and miss action, 11/5 tight movement. (Max spin 2383; Avg 2216).
CH: 78-79 mph. Around the zone control, slight running action.
