Athletic 6'0" 170 lbs. frame with some present physicality; Ford had a good overall day on Saturday. Again, in colder and winy conditions, he posted a 7.03 in the 60 and we've seen Ford record better run times in better conditions. His BP round was one of the better, if not the best on the afternoon. He peppered the baseball from gap to gap and recorded a max exit velocity of 86 mph. For schools looking for a left handed hitting OF in the 2022 class; Ford is a good one to look at.
Positional Profile: OF
Body: Athletic 6’0” 170 lbs. frame with room to add physicality and strength.
Hit: Balanced and athletic set-up. Simple load and stride with minimal movement. Level bat path with slightly uphill extension.
Power: Max exit velocity of 91 mph.
Arm: Short arm action. Over the top arm slot. OF velocity of 81 mph.
Defense: Attacked balls aggressively, but under control. Athletic footwork.
Run: Posted a 6.85 in the 60. Above average runner.
Athletic 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame. Left-handed hitter hits from a tall, slightly open stance. Knee-to-knee leg kick with solid balance throughout, flashed solid bat speed in a slightly uphill stroke with extension through contact. Line drive type hitter showed a pull dominate approach with strength at contact, posting an exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively, worked out in the outfield where he flashed athleticism, working through the ball with average outfield actions and clean exchanges into a medium arm circle and a high-¾ release, recorded an outfield position velocity of 78 mph. Solid athlete, turned in a a 7.17 60-yard dash.
Jackson Ford: OF/LHP, (2022) Pineville, LA. 5-foot-10, 158-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 86 mph. During setup, has a smooth load then a leg kick. Displayed an uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Line drive approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 77 mph; has athletic footwork, sure hands and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.06.

Displayed a slightly uphill bat path, quality bat speed and good extension at finish with a line drive approach generating an exit velocity of 84 mph. In the outfield showed athletic footwork, solid actions and clean exchanges into a high-¾ release, recorded an outfield position velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash.
