The former Jr. Future Gamer had arguably the biggest swing in last Friday's matchup against Class 5A St. Amant. Facing off against a D-I commit, McCann stepped to the plate in his second at-bat and belted a 1-0 pitch to straight-away centerfield for a solo home run that put the Cubs up 2-1. U-High ended up tacking on six more runs, over the next two innings, and ended up winning the game by a score of 8-1, that was called early due to unfavorable weather. The uncommitted junior finished the game 1-2 with the HR, RBI, 2 R, and a BB.
