Cape Cod: Undersized at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, DeBarge is strong, confident and determined. An early day two follow, he has a loud tool set with pop in his bat, a 70–grade arm and plus speed down the line (4.2). At the plate he’s an aggressive hitter who barrels all pitch types. Although the right-handed hitter did not show the game power in the Cape (three XBH in 101 at-bats) that he did in the spring (15 doubles, seven home runs), there’s above average juice in his stick as consistently posts triple digit exit velocities. He is comparable to former Ragin’ Cajun and former Major Leaguer Blake Trahan. DeBarge is an easy choice to someday appear on an All-Fitt team and a Major League roster.

Kyle DeBarge: 3B/SS, (2021) Barbe, LA.  Louisiana-Lafayette Commit, 5-foot-8, 145-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts in an athletic crouched  stance with a smooth load. Has a flat swing plane and electric bat speed. In the infield, showed the ability to use his body well with strong throws maxing out at 86 mph; has twitchy hands, a quick exchange and quick footwork. Movements laterally were athletic.
