Nick Lee is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-foot-4 190 pound frame who attends South Beauregard HS.  Lee has a long, lean and projectible frame, and pitches out of a high-3/4 arm slot with an extremely fast arm.  Arm action is loose and clean, and he lands in line with the plate.  He has a fairly violent head whack, which signals effort in the delivery.  Over the 2014 summer, Lee played with the Louisiana Knights, he pitched 89-93 and would touch a 95.    He throws a curve ball and a slider, but the Slider will be the pitch that sticks as he advances in the game.  The Slider has good velocity at 80-82, and has good tight spin.  The depth isn't where you want it right now, but the pitch should get even better as he matures.  He showed above average command of two pitches throughout the summer and occasionally would have a change up working, which made him devastating on opposing hitters.
As a SS Lee displays above average instincts and feel for the position.  He isn't the best runner, but he makes all the plays, takes great angles, gets the correct hop, and has incredible feel for the timing of the play.  He has more than enough arm strength to make every throw on the diamond, but he won't wow you with actions and hands, but he is still a quality Division I level SS.  He hits from the right side, with his hands held above his shoulder.  The barrel stays in zone along time, but he can get beat with velocity on the inner half.  He has flashed above average raw power, but the bat has a ways to go as he needs to fill out and get stronger.
