7/01/20

5-foot-11, 185-pound, stronger frame, squared off shoulders and wider back, has room for added weight. A left-handed pitcher, delivery is simple, taller on the backside, works in line to plate, with a strong front elbow. Building momentum down the mound, gets out front on release and finish. The arm action is short and clean, working from a 3/4 to higher slot. The fastball was clocked at 85 mph, lived down in the bottom part of the zone. Shows good hand speed on the breaking ball, later break, with good shape and spin to it, clocked at 71-72 mph. Worked two clean innings, one of the better arms at the event, look for the velocity to continue to climb, is a must see.

FUTURE GAMES
5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed pitcher. Once again he threw the ball well and showed 3 quality pitches. The fastball sat 81-83 mph, arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch is 70-71 mph, excellent in shape. The changeup is improving, sat 71-73 mph with fade and sink. The delivery is online and above 3/4. The tracking of the front shoulder is done appropriately, allowing him to stay within his delivery. The arm is clean and works very well. His best days are in front of him.

6/19/19

5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed pitcher. The left-hander continues to get better each and every time we see him throw. The fastball sat 83-84 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is a good one, tilt and depth, sitting 70-72 mph. The changeup is a solid pitch, 70-71 with fade and sink at times. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot, The lift and tracking are solid as he stays with his arm. The arm is clean and he repeats. A great deal to like about him on the mound at a young age.

3/05/19

5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball is up to 83 mph with late action to it. Showed improved command at the event this time. The spin pitch is solid in shape, sitting 67-69 mph with depth and tilt to it. The changeup showed fade and sink to it, sitting at 70-72 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/.4 in slot. Showed a good amount of forward lean as he went into the lift. The tracking is done well, small amount of effort at release. The arm works very well, and the glove side is under control. Really good young left-hander for college coaches to follow.

2/10/19

5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 84 mph, limited command of the ball. The spin pitch is 68-69 mph, big in shape, as it needs additional fastball hand speed. The changeup is developing, sitting at 76-79 mph, too hard. The delivery is online with the feet, above ¾ in slot. Head lean as he gets the ball out of the glove. The tracking of the front shoulder can improve as he matures. The glove is tucked as he gets into foot strike. Solid arm path and the arm is strong. Interesting follow.
