6.28.2017
6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Ran a 4.6 down the line on his dig to first base. The frame is excellent he should fill very well, making him a physical offensive player. Tee exit velocity of 92 mph. Sets up with his feet wide and a small crouch as he initiates the barrel. The path is flat to the ball and the barrel whips through the zone, finishes with a 1-handed approach. Shows power potential at the plate. Lashed a couple balls in the game. Defensively, he is above average in the outfield, threw 83 mph. Gets off the ball well and can play all 3 spots. On the mound, the fastball touched 83 mph with action to it. The spin pitch is slurvey, sits at 68, needs more fastball hand speed to it. The changeup is good, sits at 76 with fade action to it. Athletic lift and coil to start the delivery. The arm slot is above ¾ and he needs to track long with the front shoulder to stay with his arm more appropriately. Legit athlete.

6-foot, 190-pound right-handed pitcher from Northeast Baseball program. The body is projectable and the arm works clean out of a plus ¾ slot. The arm is fast and the extension is good for his age. The delivery is athletic, small coil at the top and his direction to the plate is done appropriately. The fastball touched 84 mph with good arm side action to it. The breaking pitch is a small slurve at this point, 74 mph. The spin pitch is good and should develop nicely. The changeup is a good one, sitting at 77 mph. Good looking arm, more to come in the next year. Good athlete and chance to be a legit 2-way guy.

6/29/16

Switch hitting outfielder, also pitches from the right side as well. On the mound, I have seen a number of times. The slot is ¾ and the arm is fast on the back and he gets good extension. The velocity and stuff weren’t great on Wednesday but it’s in there as I have seen it. Slight coil at the top of the delivery and good drive to home plate. There is some forward lean to the delivery causing him to elevate the ball at times. The fastball was 80 mph with arm side run. The slurve was way to big, needs more fastball hand speed to it, it was 63 mph. The changeup was not displayed.  In the outfield, he is an above average outfielder, threw 81 mph from right with carry and accuracy. The routes and good and he gets off the ball. Hits from both sides of the plate, only got a tee exit velocity from the right side, 88 mph. The right side swing is cleaner, hits out of open to close stance with some bat wiggle to the setup. Throws the barrel to the ball with life, needs to control the bottom half more so he can use his hands a bit better. The left side swing needs some work but the hands work and he is athletic enough to do it. The setup is similar to the right side although there is great deal more effort from the left side. His hands are free and clean so letting them work is a priority from either side. Ran a 4.4 from both sides.

3/9/16
Quick armed right-hander who pitches out of a ¾ slot. The ball comes out of his hand very well and shows the ability to throw all 3 pitches for strikes. The delivery is on time, with a slight coil at the top of the lift. His extension out front is advanced for his age. Fastball has arm-side run to, life and touched 83 mph. The slider is a work in progress but at times it is a plus pitch, has the right shape. The velocity of the slider is 72-73 mph. The changeup is a good one, as he throws it with the same hand speed as his fastball, the changeup sits at 72 mph. Good looking prospect on the mound as he throws strikes and should have plus stuff as he matures.

Aggressive right-handed hitting outfielder who can really run it down in the outfield. The bat has a flat plane to it. The hands are quick and direct to the ball. Very advanced bat for his age. Big time prospect who also pitches. Shows good velocity and a repeatable delivery.
