Collins is a projectable 6-foot-3, 165 pound right-handed hitting outfielder. He hits out of a wide stance. The hands are relaxed off the back shoulder. The load begins with a toe tap and the hands push back into a strong hitting position. The bat path is quick and direct through contact, producing an impressive exit velocity of 93 MPH. Collins shows real athleticism at the plate. His hands are quick and he’s able to use his long limbs to create good leverage within his swing.

Defensively, he was 78 MPH on his throws from the outfield. The feet are athletic and allow him to get into a good fielding position. He transitions well through the ground ball and gets into a good throwing position. He finishes through his throw, keeping the same direct line with his target.

On the mound, Collins again utilizes his length to create downward tilt on a fastball that sits 75-77 MPH. The delivery is simple and allows him to maintain good balance over the rubber and consistent direction to home plate. Collins also shows the ability to use his secondary stuff. The breaking ball is 63-65 MPH, with a softer shape. The change-up is 69-71 MPH, with good arm-speed. Making it hard to pick up as a hitter.

6-foot-3, 185- pounds. He has plus size for his age with a large frame and extra-large build. A right-handed hitter starts with an open stance and is balanced through the knees. The hands start high above his shoulders with a tilted setup. The swing is aggressive, level to uphill and can put the ball over the fence when he wants to. The exit velocity was 85 mph, baseball jumps off the bat. In the outfield,  he comes up on the ball well throwing it at 75 mph. There is a slight hesitation during transfer that if worked out, could help the arm be quicker. On the mound, he looked very good. Showing an average leg lift, he breaks apart very evenly, arm action works out of a ¾ slot. Pounds the zone with a pitch mix.  The fastball sat 73-75 mph,  with a curveball at 61 mph and a changeup at 68 mph. He has a very easy delivery and for a young player with his size is someone you’d want to keep an eye on.

6-foot-2, 160 pound right handed hitting catcher.   Threw 61 mph (2.5-2.6 pop time) from behind the plate.  The stance is narrow and tall.  The footwork is a work in progress.  The glove to hand exchange is good.  The arm swing is short. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 71 mph.  The set up is tall and balanced.  The hands are quiet on the take back.  The stride is simple and toward the pitcher.  The bat path is flat and get extended through the swing.  Creates leverage with the swing, which should allow for more power in the swing.  Showed the ability to hit a lot of hard gap to gap line drives during his BP.  This is a young player to keep an eye on.  The bat really has a chance.
