Hit: (LHH) Above average projectable. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then uses a small leg kick stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 94 mph exit velocity. 69.90 mph bat speed average. 21.05 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Soft developing hands, athletic consistent footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 79 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 6.76 (60-yard).

Olson is a physical, young 6-foot-3, 185 pound left-handed hitting outfield prospect. He hits out of a narrow stance with the hands set low. The load is a controlled knee slide and a raising of the hands. Olson�s physicality was evident during his round, as he punished balls to the pull side on an uphill path and culminating in a max exit velocity of 94 MPH. He finishes through contact and remains balanced throughout the swing.

Defensively, Olson was 75 MPH from the outfield. The feet are good as he works through the play. The glove is in a good position and he transitions well into the throwing position. The arm is a bit stiff on the back side and uses a higher slot on his throws. He finishes through the play well, staying in line with his target.

Olson has a ton of potential. The frame is projectable and heâ��s already showing his physicality at the plate. 

OF Velocity- 75 mph

6-foot-2, 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. I like the projection of the bat. Ran a 7.31 as he moves athletically during all facets. The approach in the outfield is athletic and online. He threw 68 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is simple as he gets his hands inside to contact. The skill set is still developing but I cant wait to see if he can figure it out at the plate. Could be scary.

OF Velocitiy 68 mph

 6-foot-2, 180 pound left-handed hitting outfielder had a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. He hits out of a narrow stance with the hands set in a good position.  The load begins with a knee to knee movement to get the weight to the backside and the hands push back to a strong position.  The hand-speed is evident with his swing and shows the potential for gap to gap juice.  The bat-path is flat to and through the hitting zone and remains balanced through the swing.

Defensively, he threw 74 mph from the outfield.  The feet are active as he prepares to field.  As the ball is hit, he moves well and does a good job of breaking down into a good fielding position.  The glove is relaxed and he transitions well into the throwing position.  He is in line with the target and the arm-swing is quick.

This is a good looking young player!  The swing has a real chance to be special and he shows a good skill-set in the outfield.
