Cameron Papetti: C/3B, (2024) Worcester Academy, MA. 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic solid frame. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. (68.2 mph bat speed average). (23.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic stance with a small load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, exhibits an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 71 mph; shows developing athletic feet, sure developing hands, and a clean natural transfer. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.93-2.00 pop time. Athletic setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.38.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Hit: (RHH) Projectable. Started in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap aggressive approach. 

Power: 90 mph exit velocity, average 82.1 mph. 68.2 mph bat speed average. 23.0 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) 1.93-2.00 pop times. Sure developing hands, developing athletic footwork, clean natural exchange. Above average and projectable. Athletic setup. 

Arm: 71 mph catcher velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.38 (60-yard).

Cameron Papetti: C/3B, (2024) out of Worcester Academy, MA. is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound physical build catching prospect. During batting practice, Papetti displayed an impressive exit velocity of 92 MPH with a (69.0 mph bat speed average) and (22.9 mph hand speed average). He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with quiet hands. A smooth load and a short stride trigger a swing that takes a slightly uphill path and shows evident bat speed. During his rounds, Papetti showed some pop to the pull side and balance into his finish. Behind the plate, his throws reached 77 MPH. His initial setup is clean. His feet are square, the glove is relaxed in the middle of his chest and his head is up. As he transitions into throwing, he showed he has athletic, smooth feet, sure hands, and a clean transfer.

Cameron Papetti: C/3B, (2024) Worcester Academy, MA. 6-foot, 165-pound lean projectable frame. Above average projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph. (66.79 mph bat speed average). (21.68 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced wide stance with a compact load, then used a short stride. Had above average bat speed, loose uphill swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second  maxed at 73 mph; has consistent developing feet, soft developing hands, and a clean exchange. He had a pop time of 2.06-2.10. Some flexibility and athletic calm setup. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.0.  Has improved tremendously in the last 6 months.

Hit: (RHH) Above average projectable. Begins in a balanced wide stance with a compact load, then uses a short stride. Above average bat speed. High finish, loose uphill swing. Aggressive approach. 

Power: 90 mph exit velocity, average 83.35 mph. 66.79 mph bat speed average. 21.68 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) 2.06-2.10 pop times. Soft developing hands, consistent developing footwork, clean exchange. Above average. Athletic calm setup with some flexibility. 

Arm: 73 mph catcher velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.00 (60-yard).

Papetti is a 5-foot-11, 160 pound right-handed hitting catching prospect. He hits out of a wide, open stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The swing is loose, showcasing his good hands. The bat-path is slightly uphill, creating lift and yielding a max exit velocity of 82 MPH. He stays on the plane well through contact and maintains balance throughout the swing.

Defensively, Papetti was 78 MPH on his throws from behind the plate. His initial stance is balanced, with the glove centered in the middle of the chest. As he transitions to throw, the feet move well, allowing the hips and shoulders to get into a strong throwing position. The ball exchange is clean, with the arm-swing being quick. He finishes over the front leg and stays in line with the target.

Catching Velocity- 78 mph

5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He ran a 7.97 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is solid. The feet can continue to improve during the transfer and he showed a clean exchange with arm strength. The receiving is solid as he is working to soften the glove and do a cleaner job of securing the catch. He threw 72 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.16. The bat has an exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot gains ground to the baseball as it approaches the hitting zone. The hand path is slightly uphill to contact. The finish is cut off, he needs to accelerate all the way through contact with the baseball. 

Exit Velocity- 86 mph

Catching Velocity 72 mph

Pop Time- 2.16

7/16/20

5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He ran a 7.59 sixty at the event. The skill set is very good at a young age, he threw 69 mph to second base with a pop time of 2.03. The receiving is solid and the feet are very good. He is a good follow behind the dish. The bat has an exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the swing is produced. The hands work freely and he cuts off the swing after he makes contact with the ball. The frame can use the addition of strength and weight as he matures in age and starts to come into his own. 

Exit Velocity- 86 mph

Catching Velocity-69 mph

Pop Time - 2.03
