Petruney is a 5-foot-11, 150 pound right-handed hitting outfield prospect. He hits out of a narrow, open stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He uses a knee slide to stack the weight over his back leg and pushes the hands into a strong position to hit. As the swing begins, the bat-head whips into the hitting zone on a flat plane, to and through contact, producing a max exit velocity of 87 MPH. The hands really work with his swing and he shows the ability to drive the ball gap to gap.
Defensively, Petruney was 75 MPH on his throws from the outfield. The feet are light and allow him to break down into a good fielding position. The glove is relaxed out front and he transitions well into the throwing position. The arm-swing is a low, ¾ slot, his alignment with his target is good and he finishes through the play well.

5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Ran a 7.56 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is athletic and on point. The arm strength needs to improve as he ages, currently throwing 62 mph from the outfield. The setup at the plate is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing. The path is long to contact, physical strength as he matures should clean that up. Hit a triple in game play and competed well during the game.
