2/10/19

6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Threw 83 mph across the diamond as the glove and feet work through the ball. The arm works clean. The feet may cause him to move to first base, as the bat is live. Tee exit velocity of 91 mph. The setup is wide in base, the bottom half is under control. He hammered the ball at the event, best I have seen him. The hands are simple and explode through the ball. On the mound, the fastball touched 80 mph. The spin pitch is a slider at 70 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting at 75 mph. The delivery is online, above ¾ in slot. The delivery has effort in it, as he spins through the leg drive. The arm is clean and long out front. Based off what I saw out of the bat, he is trending up as a hitter.

6-foot-2, 200-pound right-hander. The slot is above ¾ and the arm works clean. There is effort in the delivery. The feet are online and the lift is repeated. There is a good amount of pull with the glove side as he makes his way into foot strike. The fastball touched 80 mph, downhill plane to the pitch. The breaking ball is big in shape, sat at 65 mph. The slider is smaller, sat at 67 mph. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 73-76 mph, minimal fade to the pitch. The arm has strength to it and he is in attack mode throughout his session. Good athlete who continues to improve as he ages.

6-foot,200-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. On the mound, the fastball touched 79 mph, with run and minimal downhill plane. The slot is plus ¾. The breaking ball is slurvy, touched 67 mph. The changeup is 71 mph and he uses good hand speed to throw it. The delivery is online with the feet, the lift is athletic and he turns the upper body at the top of the lift. The tracking of the front shoulder is offline prior to foot strike, causing him to run away from his arm. The glove is solid in the infield and he likes to play the hot corner, threw 79 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph as his hands are strong. The set up is wide in base and a high back elbow start. The front foot is picked up and put down as he gets into the swing. The path is long and strong, ball comes off the bat with authority.

6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and pitcher. Has the ability to kick over to first base as well. Defensively, showed a solid glove, the prep steps and work to the ball with his feet need to improve as he matures. The arm has plenty of strength to it, threw 77 across the diamond at third and first base. Solid foot work and glove at first as well. Ran a 4.78 down the line on his dig to first base at tehe event. The bat is strong, tee exit velocity of 77 mph. Sets up with his feet semi-wide. The hands work cleanly to the ball. Shortening the path will aid a higher tee exit velocity. Currently he is a long to contact. Bottom half are under control throughout the swing.  On the mound, displayed arm strength. The fastball touched 77-78 mph and true to shape. The spin pitch was 66 mph , as he wraps the wrist on the backside of his arm swing. The changeup sits at 70 mph, fade and sink need to be added. Like the bat, interesting follow.

6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. Corner infielder, threw 76 across the diamond. The glove is solid and the prep steps to and through the ball need to continue to develop as he ages. Shows enough arm strength at an early age to play a corner spot. Ran a 4.7 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has strength to it, tee exit velocity of 85 mph, advanced for his age. Starts his set up with his feet even, has a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The hands work well, needs to stay on the ball longer to display usage of the whole field. On the mound, the fastball touched 78 mph. The spin pitch, has a nice shape to it, sits at 69. Showed a changeup at 74 mph. Pitches out of a plus ¾ slot. The tracking of the front shoulder needs better direction as he gets away from his arm. The arm works and the athleticsm is good. Needs tweaking and innings to continue to develop. Good looking prospect.
