6-foot-1, 195-pound, strong athletic frame. The hands, wrists, legs have fast twitch actions and movements to them, is advanced with his athletic ability. A right-handed hitter, swing is powerful. The stance is shorter, it's open and gets back to even with the stride. The hands, start lower, have serious strength to them, are loaded up, bat is flat and starts in a good hitting position. The swing path is down to level to up, finishes with two hands. The approach is gap to gap, keeps his hands inside the baseball, could stay through it longer. Defensively, the feet and hands work well together from behind the plate. The feet are super quick in transfer, arm action is short, quick, pop times of 1.93-1.94, arm was clocked at 76 mph from the chute, throws were on the bag. The setup is balanced, showed solid receiving skills in bullpens. Off the mound, showed three above average pitches. The fastball was clocked at 81 mph, pounded well to glove side with the 4 seamer. The breaking ball had good spin at 69 mph, has little hook to it out of the glove, located down. The changeup might have been his best pitch, clocked at 73 mph, comes out of the same slot with same arm speed. Time will tell which way he will go, arm action is so clean and quick the velocity is going to jump off the bump, will be a weapon behind the plate down the road.
