5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher, he has improved immensely since the last time we have seen him. Pop time of 1.98, the feet and throwing have improved a great deal. The receiving is solid, the flexibility is good and he shows a soft glove. Ran a 4.41 on his dig to first, the athleticsm is obvious. Threw 78 mph down to second base during the defensive portion of the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph, physical strength gains are warranted. The set up is wide with his feet, the hand separation is minimal. The swing is flat to the ball and he makes solid contact. The strength in the frame is needed to aid the development of the swing.  Solid catch and throw guy.

5-foot-10, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Showed well at the event, threw 72 mph down to second base and the pop time is 2.06. The improvement in his ability to catch and throw is significant. The receiving still needs to continue to improve as he matures. Ran a 4.66 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has a tee exit velocity 74 as the frame needs strength. The set up is wide with the feet, the bottom half is under control as the swing progresses. The path is flat to the ball and the hands work appropriately. Solid progression by him in the last year.

Very good looking catch and throw defender, pop time of 2.10. The frame is rail thin, 5-foot-9, 130-pounds. The receiving is soft and he does a good job securing the catch. With physical maturation this guy should be an above average defender. Threw 71 mph down to second during the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is even with his hands and feet, the hands work clean. The path is flat and long, likely to improve with physical strength. I like the projection of his path and hands. Ran a 4.8 down the line on his dig to first base. Good follow behind the dish.
