John Paone: RHP, (2025) Lawrence Academy, MA. Duke Commit, 6-foot-3, 210-pound projectable athletic frame. Above average and projectable on the mound, showing above average arm speed he had a loose consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 90-91 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2326; Avg 2221). His changeup (85-86) had gradual fading action. He showed glove side around the zone command and hard tight action on his tight slider (79-80). (Max spin 2603; Avg 2523).
