A strong 5-foot-10, 160 pound right-handed hitting outfielder had a tee exit velocity of 88 mph. He hits out of a narrow, open stance. The hands set low off the back shoulder. The load is short and gets him into a strong hitting position. The bat-head takes a flat plane to and through the hitting zone. During the BP he showed the ability to drive the ball to the pull side.
Defensively, he threw 78 mph from the outfield. The feet are light and he does a nice job of getting himself in a good position to field. The glove is relaxed out in front and the transition to the throwing position is good. He gets into a balanced throwing position, in line with the target. The arm is quick and he finishes his throws.

Threw 79 mph from right field to the plate. The foot speed is solid, may be able to play all 3 spots in the outfield as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. He gets to the front foot early and has a long/flat path. The front foot needs to get down before the swing starts, it is late. The hands work free and clean.

Threw 74 mph with a clean arm in the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. Uses a knee to knee on the bottom half from timing. The hands keep the swing simple, the path has a little lift but its quick and to the ball. Solid looking prospect that should garner attention this spring.
