Nigel Cross: RHP/OF, (2023) Doherty Memorial, MA. Wentworth Institute of Technology Commit, 6-foot, 165.5-pound athletic projectable frame. Projectable on the mound, showed developing quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a clean arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph; had control arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 1946; Avg 1796). Shows hard action and arm side control on his changeup (77-78). His slider (68-69) has glove side around the zone control and slurvey action. (Max spin 1881; Avg 1757).

(56.7 mph bat speed average). (17.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced open stance with a small load, then used a small closed stride. Has developing bat speed, flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.47. Projectable and capable on the mound, showed developing quick arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose quick arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Balance point is tall with in line shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 79-80 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and slight running action. (Max spin 1963; Avg 1883). His curveball (67-69) shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1969; Avg 1931). Had gradual fading action and arm side around the zone command on his changeup (70-72).
