Jeremy Delacruz: SS/2B, (2023) Central Catholic, MA. 5-foot-7, 139-pound. In the box, Delacruz clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. (70.0 mph bat speed average). (21.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall open stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick. Has a simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 80 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent smooth footwork. Had a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Began in a wide crouched stance with a big load, then used a long stride. Bat speed is quick, uses an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. Capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Had a short arm action and a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base.

Hit: (RHH) Started in a wide crouched stance with a big load, then used a long stride. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill swing. Pull side approach. 

Power: 85 mph exit velocity, average 71.39 mph. 64.49 mph bat speed average. 19.28 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Capable.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. 

Arm: 77 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

5-foot-7, 140-pound right-handed hitting catcher and infielder. He has a very good skill set at a young age. The approach in the infield is athletic and smooth with the feet. He threw 78 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The hands are soft and work through the ball. Behind the dish, he threw 73 mph with a pop time of 2.14. The feet are clean and the throwing path is clean. The addition of physical strength should aid the development of his game. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing as the ball moves into the hitting zone. The hands work free and clean with the bat. Solid prospect.

5-foot-7,1 45-pound right-handed hitting catcher and middle infielder. He showed very good athleticsm and versatility at the event. Behind the dish, he threw 73 mph with a pop time of 2.06. The transfer is clean and the throwing slot is simple. During the infield portion of the workout, he threw 75 mph. The feet work well in the field as he stays through the ball and is under control. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is clean to contact and he stays through the ball. Solid prospect.

5-foot-5, 133-pound right-handed hitting catcher and infielder. Ran a 7.4 sixty at the event. The movements are athletic and aggessive. Showed an aggressive approach in the infield, the feet stayed active. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Threw 71 mph with the gear on as the feet are actice and aggressive. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 61 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot has a small pick up and put down as the ball approaches. The swing is clean and he remains under control.
