Thomas Rupp: 1B/OF, (2023) The Winchendon School, MA. 6-foot-7, 235-pound projectable solid build. Above average and projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter's 97 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. (68.3 mph bat speed average). (22.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is explosive above average, displays a loose uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 74 mph; had developing soft hands, developing consistent footwork, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.94.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Defense:  (IF) Developing soft hands, developing consistent footwork, clean exchange. Projectable.  Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. 

Arm: 74 mph infield velocity. High ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

Above average projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 92 mph. (65.68 mph bat speed average). (20.83 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, exhibits an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 76 mph; shows soft developing hands, consistent developing feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a 60 time of 7.28 at the event.

Thomas Rupp: 1B/OF, (2023) The Winchendon School, MA. 6-foot-6, 245-pound physical frame. Projectable in the box, Rupp clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was quick, had a loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, made throws up to 66 mph; had rhythmic footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front.

Body: 6-foot-6, 245-pound physical frame.

Hit: (RHH) Started in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 88 mph exit velocity, average 79.06 mph. 69.57 mph bat speed average. 24.02 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, rhythmic footwork, clean exchange. Projectable.  Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. 

Arm: 66 mph infield velocity. 

6-foot-6, 220-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. He ran a 7.72 sixty at the event. The feet around the bag at first and the target are solid. He shows solid athleticism around it and the ability to move left and right to field the baseball. He threw 69 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The slot is low 3/4, may want to look at raising it a bit to tap into more arm strength. The bat has an exit velocity of 93 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a toe tap as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work free and he maneuvers the barrel with ease. The addition of strength and weight should make a serious prospect as he matures. 

Exit Velocity- 93 mph

INF Velocity- 68 mph

6-foot-6, 220-pound, longer, large, athletic frame, with room for added weight, chance to be very physical at some point. A right-handed hitting 1st baseman, balanced approach, feet are even. The hands are loose and relaxed at the shoulders. The swing is level to up, works freely through the zone. Approach is more middle to pull side, showing enough pop to beat the outfielders. The exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph, ran a 7.80 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, is a large target to throw to, moves very well around the bag, glove is soft, hands and feet work well together, good actions for a bigger player. The arm action is short, working from a lower slot, clocked at 73 mph. Will need to add additional strength to it. Potential to be a power guy down the road.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.80

6-foot-6, 220-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. The foot speed is solid for a bigger prospect. He threw 72 mph across the infield during the infield portion of the workout. The glove is solid and he moves athletically around the bag. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph, we have seen him have a higher tee exit velocity. The setup has the feet close in proximity and steps into the swing. The hands work freely as he gets the bat on a flat plane. He is a very good prospect at an early age. 

Tee Exit Velocity- 84 mph

INF Velocity- 72 mph

6-foot-6, 215-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. The feet around the bag are solid and he is a huge target to throw to. He threw 72 mph across the diamond out of a long and clean arm slot. Solid defender at first. The bat has a tee exit of 89 mph. The setup is narrow in base, uses a knee slide to get to the front foot. The path is quick and explosive to the ball. Good looking prospect with a huge upside.
