Tyler Dejesus: 1B/3B, (2023) Central, MA. 5-foot-10, 210-pound sturdy build. Above average during batting practice, Dejesus had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (74.29 mph bat speed average). (22.19 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, shows an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable In the infield, had soft hands, consistent footwork, and a clean exchange. Capable from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 73 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 8.3 in the 60-yard dash.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Power: 92 mph exit velocity, average 78.19 mph. 74.29 mph bat speed average. 22.19 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Capable. (OF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Capable.  Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. 

Arm: 73 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 8.30 (60-yard).



Dejesus is a 5-foot-10, 210 pound right-handed hitting corner infield prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance with the hands set close to the head. The load is short and allows him to get into a strong hitting position. The bat-path is flat through the hitting zone, producing a lot of line drives during the batting practice. This leads to a max exit velocity of 87 MPH.

Defensively, Dejesus was 73 MPH on his throws during the infield portion. The feet are light and allow him to move well laterally. He gets into a fundamental fielding position, with the glove relaxed out front. As he transitions through the ground ball, the hands are soft and the feet get him in line with his target. The arm is clean and quick, finishing in line with his target.

INF Velocity- 73 mph

5-foot-9, 220-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder. He ran a 7.95 sixty at the event. The glove is solid around the bag and the feet can continue to work to aid the playing of the position. He threw 60 mph across the infield during the defensive portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 91 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands have good life, producing an uphill path through contact with the baseball. He has a chance to hit.
