A slow load and a controlled stride get him into a strong position to hit. The bat takes a flat path through the hitting zone, while using a gap to gap approach. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 74 MPH, while showing he had sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent footwork. He also recorded a time of 8.0 in the 60-yard dash. 




Jack Difilippo: 1B/RHP, (2025) out of St. John's Prep, MA. is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Difilippo starts in a balanced, open stance with the hands relaxed off the back shoulder. A controlled load and a short stride get him into a solid hitting position. The swing plane is a simple, direct path through the hitting zone generating a lot of hard contact. He extends through contact well and shows the ability to drive balls gap to gap. In the infield, his best throw across the diamond registered 72 MPH. As he worked through the ground balls, he  showed a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. On the mound, Difilippo uses a clean, simple delivery. He gets balanced at the top, separates well and heads down the mound in line with the plate. The arm works out of a higher ¾ slot, producing some run on a fastball that sat 70-76 MPH. He also showed a breaking ball (62-64 MPH) with 12/6 break.

(73.38 mph bat speed average). (24.99 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is above average, uses a flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 73 mph; showed developing feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.0. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 73-74 mph; showed arm side control and slight running action. Showed sweeping action and glove side command on his 11/5 curveball (63-64).

Power: 93 mph exit velocity, average 86.45 mph. 73.38 mph bat speed average. 24.99 mph hand speed average. Highest at the event. 

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, developing footwork, clean exchange. Solid.  Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm: 73 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 8.00 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Projectable. up-tempo delivery, some effort. high ¾ arm angle, developing arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, a clean finish.

FB: T74. 73-74 mph. Arm side accuracy, slight running action. 

CB: 63-64 mph. Glove side control, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. 



6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting first baseman. He turned in a great showing. The glove is solid at first and he threw 71 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work free and clean through contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 68-70 mph and he showed a changeup at 60-61 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated out of the stretch and the arm works.
