MD Preseason All State
Big strong frame at 6-foot-5, 255-pounds. Repeatable mechanics with rhythm and a consistent balance point gathered over the rubber. Down and out low effort delivery moving down the mound, shoulders level, and lands closed, Arm circle is longer with above average arm speed throwing from a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball was 77-80 on the day. Curveball had 11/5 shape with a bigger break at 58-61 mph. Changeup had feel and late fade at 69-71 mph.
MD Top Prospect Games
Big, long body type. 6-foot-6, 230 pound frame. Side step wind-up and high leg kick to taller balance point. Average down to out lower half drive. Long, clean arm actions and some quick arm speed through release. Smooth rhythm throughout delivery and gets over front side well. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with easy effort. Heavy fastball up to 83 mph. 63-65 mph 11/5 shape breaking ball with gradual action. Changeup sat 76-77 with nice fade.
