3/10/20

Athletic, strong body type and projectable 6'1'', 195 pound frame. Started the game on the bump against Archbishop Spalding working three innings allowing two runs on four hits, walked four, and struck out six along the way. Fastball sat 88-92 mph and breaking ball was 72-75 mph with sharp 11/5 shape and a 2200-2400 spin rate. Change-up was 79-80 mph. Small side-step wind-up and high leg kick into a tall balance point with hands set high. Smooth delivery landing square to the plate with an athletic finish. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Creates quick arm speed through release. Also contributed offensively for the Stags going 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and scored a run. Uses the whole field well at the plate with power to the alleys present.

2/10/18 - PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase

Maryland's No. 1 in the 2020 class and No. 10 in the PBR overall 2020 rankings did not disappoint at the ProCase. Green arguably had the best workout of all players in attendance, showing explosive quick twitch at the plate to go along with his howitzer from the outfield, getting up to 95 mph on his outfield throws. On the mound, Green was 88-90 and showing late sink on his two-seam fastball. He showed good command of his arsenal, and showing difference between his two offspeed. His bigger action breaking ball was up to 74 mph while his late action slider topped out at 80 mph.

10/24/17 - Jupiter Day 4 Notebook

Greene has long been one of the bigger names in the 2020 class, and he did not disappoint when stepping on the mound in a relief role for the Richmond Braves. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right hander showcased electric stuff including an explosive fastball that sat 87-91 and jumped out of his hand. He countered the fastball with a hard, 77-79 slider that featured tilt, and was close to being a plus-pitch when at its best. He also showcased a "get me over" curveball at 71 mph that tumbled some with 11/5 shape. Greene demonstrated the ability to sink his fastball to the arm side, and pounded the zone with an electric arm. A gifted athlete, Greene also exhibits the ability to swing the bat. He has quick hands and strong wrists, and hunts fastballs on an uphill plane. An athletic runner, Greene will have a chance to be the next in a long list of talented two-way players at the University of Virginia, where he is committed.

7/1/17
Greene has continued to progress as a player developing into a high level prospect across the country. Hits from an athletic set up with high hands. Nice rhythm in load at the plate with explosive bat speed. Uses his athleticsm to its fullest offensively with power. ---- On the mound has a smooth easy delivery throwing from a high three quarter slot. Ball comes out hard and has been recorded up to 90 mph. Easy effortless delivery with an athletic arm action. More in the tank.

10.6.16 - Greene is a highly projectable athlete with great quick twitch and shows two way potential. Quick hands with a short swing at the plate. Creates some fast bat speed that should turn to some power as he continues to fill out his projectable frame (6-foot-1, 172-pounds). On the mound Greene showed life in his arm with a fastball up to 87 mph hitting it twice coupled with a late breaking 75 mph slider with put-away potential.
