Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6’1”, 175 pounds. Long, athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load and short stride. Creates some hand separation. Short to the ball with a level swing path. Showed quick hands and bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball and swings with intent. Gets good extension through contact and finishes swing with one-hand. Worked mostly middle to pull side during BP.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ball comes off the bat well with power present to the pull side.
Arm: RH. OF - 82 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball in the outfield and fields it out in front on the glove hand side. Showed quick, clean exchanges and quick, fundamental footwork.
Run: 4.47 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Starts with a quick, side rocker step into a jerky chest high leg kick. Generates solid torque out of his lower half and with his front knee. Gets solid extension over his front side. Lands in a good fielding position
Arm Action: RH. Throws downhill out of a low three-quarter arm slot.
FB: T79 mph, 77-78 mph. Arm-side run was evident.
CB: 66-68 mph. Tight, 11/5 shape was shown.
CH: 71-72 mph. Thrown with deception and good arm speed.
