10.27.15 - Solid and athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Hits from an open setup. Slightly closes off after short stride and load. Level bat path with extension through contact and quick bat speed. Gets nice lower half involvement and displays balance throughout swing. Pull side power potential. Exit velocity of 92 mph. Receives from nice base with soft hands. Sound footwork and a clean exchange on throws to second. Throws had a velocity of 75 mph with a pop time as low as 2.03.

5.28.15 - 2016 Dylan Nepert hits from a slightly open stance with balance and a short path to the baseball. Shows potential pull side pop.  Consistently got barrel on baseball.  Blue-collar guy behind the plate. Works hard with hip control.  Slight movements while receiving and soft hands. Has quick exchange and throws from over the top arm slot.  In between inning pop time of 2.15.

2.21.15 - Dylan Nepert is a 6-foot-1 195-pound C with a solid frame. Nepert has good footwork and throws from an over-the-top arm angle with short arm action. His exchange is quick, could be more fluid, but gets rid of the ball with some carry. Evenly distributed stance from behind the plate and showed soft hands while receiving. His catcher velocity was 73 mph which translated to a 2.09 pop time. He hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load. A quick level swing that can get long at times. A gap-to-gap type hitter with some bat speed. His exit velocity was 80 mph and he ran a 7.44 60. Nepert is a solid overall catcher in the 2016 class.  If he can develop a plus tool he could make a jump in the MD rankings.
