12.3.16:  Garrett is 5-10 with an athletic frame and a strong lower half. Throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. Long, free arm action that is quick, some effort to delivery. Shoulders are level and on line, strides to a slightly closed landing with an athletic finish. Fastball was 82-84, touching 85 with late armside run. Curveball had sharp 11/5 break, running 70-71 with decent armspeed. Change-up had good armspeed and sink action, sitting 77-78.

7.30.15 - Compact frame at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Throws from a high three-quarter arm angle with a loose sound arm action and creates quick arm speed. Has a controlled delivery and stays balanced throughout. Lands slightly across his body and could get increased lower half involvement. Pitches with some effort and clean tempo in delivery.  Fastball has gradual run to the pitch up to 85 mph.  Breaking ball has 11/5 action and gradual break at 71 mph.  Keeps near fastball arm speed on the pitch.  Changeup has late sink to the pitch at 77 mph. Shows good command on the mound along with a strong mound presence.
