Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 6’0”, 150 pounds. Long, athletic body type. Projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. High leg kick load with some hand separation and a short stride. Short to the ball with a more level swing path. Showed quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement and quiet head. Maintains solid balance throughout the swing and gets good extension past contact with a hard two handed finish. Really nice gap-to-gap rounds during BP.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Power to the gaps and alleys with more developing.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high mid to high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Works through the ball with quick feet and clean actions. Quick exchanges, soft hands, and smooth double play feeds to second base. Rangy, plays loose and moves very well. Changes arm slots with ease and accuracy depending on the type of play.
Run: 4.07 home-to-first time.
MD Eastern Shore Showcase 10.21.18
Athletic body type and 5-foot-11, 140 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly open, and slightly crouched stance at the plate. Minimal movement at the plate. Short stride with hands pre-set. Nice lower half involvement in swing and gets slightly uphill at contact. Short, level swing path with an exit velo of 79 mph. Showed quick hands and some fast bat speed. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Moves well in the infield and plays with active feet and smooth fielding actions. Works through the ball with an athletic set-up and soft hands. Quick, clean exchanges throwing with short arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 69 mph. Showed the ability to throw accurately from the side on the run. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash.
