Preseason All-State Session II

Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5’10”, 160 pounds. Strong, athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, square stance. Smooth back load and stride with good hand separation. Short to the ball with a level swing path. Swings with intent and stays behind the ball well. Shows fast bat speed with good extension through the zone and past contact. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement, finishing strong with one hand. Keeps solid balance throughout swing with a strong middle to pull side approach. 
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Throws with short arm action from a mid to three quarter arm slot. 
Defense: Surrounds the ball well with quick feet and soft hands. Works through the ball, fielding it out in front showing clean exchanges and momentum towards the bag. 
Run: 4.56 home-to-first time.

Delivery: Small, side rocker step into a chest high leg lift. Easy, loose effort down the mound into his landing position. Generates good torque with his midsection. Glove separation is on time with delivery. Lands in-line with catcher's glove and displayed athletic actions through his follow through.
Arm Action: RH. Throws out of a mid three-quarter arm slot.
FBT83 mph, 79-81 mph. Subtle arm-side run.
CB: 70-73 mph. Tight, 11/5 action.
CH: 69-71 mph. Thrown at near FB arm speed.


MD Top Prospect Games II

Athletic body type and 5’9’’, 155 pound frame. Up-tempo, small, side-step wind up and delivery. Gets to a compact balance point and generates some down-to-out lower half drive off the rubber. Lands square to the plate with an athletic finish falling just slightly off to the first base side. Clean hand separation and long, loose arm action throwing from a low-mid three-quarter slot with easy effort. Creates quick arm speed through release and fields the position well. Fastball sat 78-79 mph and touched 80 mph with some arm side run. Breaking ball showed tight 11/5shape at 65-66 mph and changeup was 66 mph.


5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. Ran a 4.52 home to first at the workout. The glove works and the feet remain active during the fielding process. Threw 76 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is uphill and long, showed a good amount of bat speed. On the mound, the fastball sat 79-81 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin is 61-63 mph, big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online with the feet and 3/4 in slot. The lift is repeated, and the top half is rotational in action during the process.

MD Top Prospect Games West 6.26.19

Athletic body type and 5’9’’, 155 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate with a wide base. Smooth back load and short stride creating nice hand separation. Short, compact swing, quick hands and fast bat speed. Attacks the ball with intent and showed some lower half involvement. Stays behind the ball with good extension and a one-handed finish. Nice gap-to-gap line drive approach with occasional pop. Recorded a 79 mph exit velocity. Athletic and moves well at third base. Strong base and fields the ball out in front. Plays through the ball with quick footwork and showed clean exchanges to first base squaring shoulders to the target. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Ran a 7.39 60-yard time. Up-tempo side-step wind-up and leg kick into a tall, compact balance point. Down-to-out lower half drive. Lands square to the plate with an athletic finish. Throws with long arm action from a low three-quarter slot with easy effort. Creates quick arm speed through release but has a tendency to drag back-side through. Fastball sat 78-80 mph and touched 81 mph. Breaking ball showed tight spin and hard 11/5 shape at 65-67 mph. Also featured a two seamer that showed late arm-side run at 76-77 mph.


Diamondskills All American Camp - 1/19/2019

5-foot-9, 145-pound athletic frame. On the mound showed a balanced wide setup with a rocker step from the windup. Slower controlled pace to the delivery and picks up the pace post balance point. Sinks in the bag leg and shows a drop and drive type delivery landing slightly closed. Long arm circle that gets behind, but arm was up at stride and showed arm speed getting it through. Throws from a low three-quarter slot with some late arm side run on the fastball at 76-79 mph touching 80 mph. Curveball was tight and hard with 11/5 shape and solid arm speed. Changeup was thrown at 71-73 mph and had late fade. At the plate stance was square and small leg lift to striding forward and on line. Hands load back with an arm bar and bat wraps. Short to contact, heads tends to drift forward on contact, and bat stays through extension. Exit velo was 79 mph. On defense presented a prep hop on contact, attacked through the ball, soft hands at catch, long arm action, and threw from a low three-quarter arm slot. 60 time was 7.37.
