2.21.16 - Athletic projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic, slightly open setup. Smooth load to hitting position. Shorter, level swing path with bat speed. Pull side power potential. Nice foundation and potential for more with his continued strength. Exit velocity of 89 mph. Solid footwork with a clean exchange and soft hands in the infield. Work thru the ball well. Loose arm action throwing from a ¾ arm slot. Infield velocity of 81 mph...Has a controlled delivery up to balance. Free arm action with quick arm speed throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Starting to work lower half through and getting more involvement. Works downhill pretty well. Fastball has slight run to the pitch up to 84 mph. Changeup has dive to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 76 mph. Breaking ball has tight rotation and 11/5 shape and late breaking sharp action at 71 mph. Projectable frame that has more in the tank.
6.30.15 - Long athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Hits from a slightly open and tall set up with a smooth load and good balance after short stride. Short bat path with some bat speed and pull side power potential. Gap-to-gap style hitter. Stays inside the ball. Sound footwork in the middle with a clean exchange. Longer arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Throws were accurate and consistent and had a velocity of 77 mph across the diamond. Ran a 4.64 home to first and had an exit velocity of 85 mph. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with some arm speed and a long arm action. Controlled delivery with some rhythm. Pitches with some effort. Falls off to 1B side after finish. Could get more lower half involvement for increase in ability and possibly more velocity. Fastball had sink to the pitch at 82 mph. Breaking ball had 10/4 movement with gradual break at 67 mph. Changeup had near fastball arm speed and fade at 73 mph.
