11/11/17

6-foot-3, 187 pound athletic built prospect has an impressive frame. On the mound has clean actions on the mound stepping right moving to his balance point with ease.  Ball comes out his hand clean 80-82 mph showing arm side run. Sharp breaking curve 66-67. Deceptive changeup with the same arm speed as his fastball 71-73 mph. At the plate continues to show his ability to handle the bat making himself a true two way prospect. Ball jumps off his barrel with good lift. Crushes the ball with a loud sound being created.

11/4/17

6-foot-3, 187 pound two way prospect had one of the more impressive performances at the event. Will garner a lot of attention from colleges heading into the spring. At the plate has an upright stance using a small front leg lift, displaying fast hands at the plate. Creates a nice launch angle off the bat driving the ball consistently. Moves well around the bag at 1B fielding the ball out front and throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. On the mound begins at an angle moving to his balance point quickly, throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 80-82 mph with natural lefty movement. Curve showed a slurve type feel 64-66 mph and a 73-74 mph change up.

9/30/17
A two-way prospect in the 2018 class. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. A smooth swinger from the left side. Lower half is fluid and creates solid energy into contact. Path is level and he showed the ability to find the barrel regularly. Ball gets off his bat well and he showed his well above average natural tools with his 96 mph exit velocity. Generates easy gap pop and drove multiple extra base hits in game. Brings above average athleticism to the first base position. Gets off the bag well, showing lateral mobility. Glove works in and out of funnel. On the bump the southpaw has a fluid, repeatable delivery. Transitions well through his leg lift into his hip load. Arm is loose with whip to it through a near ¾ slot. Tunnels his fastball/slider combination well. Fastball will sit 80-83 mph and show regular run. Slider has a slurvish look to it as it displays big action across the zone at 63-66 mph.

6/28/17

6-foot-3, 187 two way athletic prospect showed well at the event. At the plate sets up with a balanced stance keeping his hands back. Lets the ball travel swinging on a level plane. Produced several line drives across the diamond. At 1B uses a small hop step moving towards the ball, fields the ball deep, takes a step and throws from a high 3/4 arm angle. On the mound repeats his motion each time moving to a waist high balance point, throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. Fastball was low in the zone showing good arm side movement 77-80 mph. On the change up he slowed his arm a tad 61-62 mph
