Starts in a tall open stance with a handsy load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is developing, displays a long swing plane and good extension on his finish. Up the middle approach. While in the infield, made throws up to 74 mph. Capable on the mound, showed a loose arm action and an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who uses high effort. He has even shoulders with an consistent balance point. Lands closed with a clean balanced finish. (Max spin 1959; Avg 1888).
