Fischer was another unsigned senior who stood out throughout the day, and in several different facets at that. I liked his bullpen best; sat 84-86+ with some bore to the fastball and spun a quality low-70s curveball that was routinely working 23-2400+. He rounded out his mix with a usable upper-70s change and showed the athleticism, control, ease of operation, and repeatability to lead me to believe he could turn into a next-level SP. He also impressed on the offensive side, a corner infielder who is athletic enough to pop out to a corner outfield spot as well, turning in a 6.77 60-yard dash and 99-plus peak exit velocity from a simple, impactful right-handed stroke.
8/17/25
Projectable 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame with intriguing two-way ability. On the mound, works with a longer arm stroke to a high ¾ slot and moves well down the slope with a slight cross-fire look. Fastball sat 80-82.9 mph, flashing carry, complemented by a mid-70s changeup with some fade and a tight 69-71 mph breaking ball spinning in the 2200s. At the plate, showed a level right-handed swing in BP with exits peaking at 91.7 mph and more power in the tank than current metrics suggest. Also turned in a 7.08 60, underscoring athleticism for his size. Well-rounded player with above-average abilities across the board at present, projectability/athleticism in the frame, and intriguing two-way upside.
