Brenden Holland: LHP/OF, (2022) Blissfield, MI. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. Projectable at the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 85 mph. (61.80 mph bat speed average). (18.40 mph hand speed average). Sets up in an open stance with a tight load. Bat speed was above average, displayed a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. He produced some loud contact and found a couple of barrels. Line drive approach. Confident in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 79 mph; had firm hands, a clean exchange, and fluid footwork. Movements laterally were athletic. Used a long arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.77. On the mound, used a consistent arm action and low ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Balance is tall point with an even shoulders in his delivery. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph with a max of 78 mph; has a consistent command that shows straight movement. (Max spin ; Avg ). His curveball (68-72) had gradual action.
