Brendon Bennett: LHP/1B, (2024) Novi, MI. 6-foot, 180-pound. Solid in the box, Bennett had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a crouched stance with a low load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, exhibits an upward long swing plane and level finish. He found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 85 mph. Clocked a time of 7.95 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, showed a long arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses high effort. During his delivery balance point is tall with uphill shoulders. Has a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 83-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph; shows decent command and tilt with sharp movement. Had sweeping action and command low in the zone on his sharp curveball (64-68). Showed sinking action and glove side command on his flat changeup (72-73).
