Smith stands 6-foot-5, 177 pounds continuing to fill out his nice pitcher's frame. His size and arm slot allows him to seem as if he's stand on top of the hitter. Works with a controlled pace on the mound taking his leg slightly above the waist he delivers from a high 3/4 arm angle. Shows good arm whip while being able to keep his head steady. Fastball showed cut action 74-76 mph, deceptive sinking 64-66 mph change up and a 68-69 mph slider.

Smith has an ideal pitcher’s frame standing 6-foot-4,165-pounds. He throws 3/4 with a long and loose arm action. Has cut action on a 71-73 mph fastball, 65-68 mph curveball and a 66-69 mph sinking change. Plenty more velocity in the tank. Very interesting follow.
