Carpenter

8/9/13 Carpenter had himself a weekend.  Carpenter was one of the best performers in the games.  The middle infielder showed good actions and made several nice plays.  He also picked up several hits including a double and a triple with four RBI.  Carpenter should see his stock rise after this performance.

2/23/13 Carpenter best profiles as a 2B at the next level.  Shows softer hands and high motor.  His exchanges were good and his throws were accurate with some carry.  At the plate he was balanced and showed good bat speed.  He has a smooth load. Has uphill tendencies but got through the ball well.

9/16/12 Carpenter is a 5-foot-9 solid middle infielder who showed good range to both his glove hand and backhand.  His arm strength was solid registering at 76mph across the diamond and he made all of the plays with confidence. HIs throws were accurate.  He does let the ball travel deep into his legs but overall fielded ball cleanly.

From an offensive standpoint he is a solid runner at 7.37 in the 60.  His load is simple and he uses a short stride and has upward tilt in his swing. From time to time he will get long but has good overall bat speed that registers at 86 mph in exit velocity (one of the best on the day).  He also showed a willingness to use the whole field.
