5-foot-9, 190 pound prospect. Low ¾ arm action from the left side of the mound, uses lower half well. Fastball sites 78-82 mph. Sweeping slider at 63-64 mph. Change-up with some sink at 71 mph. Good hands and rnage at first base, throwing 76 mph across the infield. Ran 7.63 60. Quick hands with good separation from the left side of the plate. Bat speed registered at 85 mph.

7/2/13 Smaller LHP/1B at 5-foot-8, 155-pounds.  Longer loose arm action at 1B (71mph). Threw the ball accurately. Imrpoving.  A lot of moving parts in the swing.  Did find the barrel well.  Works uphill.  On the mound was 70-73mph.  Still young and has time to add weight and strength.

2/9/13 David Gnegy is a 5-foot-8 155-pound sophomore.  Gnegy is not a great runner (8.0) but does show some promise at the plate.  He had a balanced stance and smooth load.  His swing path is follows an uphill path.
