Szczepaniak has a 6-foot-3, 193-pound frame. On the mound he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and has a long, loose arm action. His fastball showed good sink while sitting 78-82 mph. His curveball had 12/6 break to it as it sat 68-72 mph with late, sharp break. His changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and sat 72-73 mph with some run. He showed the ability to throw three pitches for strikes.
