Willis has a projectable 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and quick arm speed. His fastball sat 81-84 mph with good, late sink. His curveball had 2/8 shape to it and sat 67-69 mph with sharp action to it. His changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and sat 70-73 mph with late sink. He shows a good feel for three pitches and shows the ability to locate his fastball to both sides of the plate. He is able to repeat his delivery and finishes through his target.
