7/16/19

On the mound steps right with a side sets moving to his balance point. Throws from a 3/4 arm angle from with a heavy feel. Throws with sink throwing down hill. Fastball was 83-85 mph showing sink. Cruised through his inning of work. Racked up a couple of strikeouts. 72-74 mph 11/5 shape curve.

7/11/18
On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo pace to a delivery that requires regular effort. Drop and drive type guy that creates good energy and direction down the mound. Arm shows obvious strength through a high-¾ slot. Fastball is mostly true through the zone and heavier than the 78-81 mph velocity may indicate. Spins a tight breaking ball at 68-70 mph. The pitch has enough depth and action to miss barrels. Also throws a quality changeup, maintaining arm speed at 69-70 mph. In the infield shows fluidity in fielding process with average footwork. Receives the ball out in front beforing funneling into the waist and transferring to a near ¾ slot.  Played the position with confidence. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses an aggressive stride for timing as hands stay simple prior to launch. Front foot hitter with a downhill path. More present strength than speed through the zone. Would be aided by a flatter path to allow for more natural ball flight. Has enough natural tools to be a run producer.
