Lucas Koning: SS/RHP, (2026) Mattawan, MI. 5-foot-9, 145-pound. (62.3 mph bat speed average). (17.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall open stance then uses a big leg kick. Had a level swing plane and a balanced finish. Up the middle approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph. Smooth solid on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a short arm action with an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows some effort. Balance is tall point with an even shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with upright recoil finish. (Max spin 2072; Avg 2002).
