Hitting: Sets up with a slight open stance keeping his hands back. Shows a hard line drive approach. Turns back hip well into the ball. Drove the ball multiple times into the OF. crushed a ball over the RF fence.


Fielding: At 3B has a hop step gather working towards the ball with a calm approach. Takes a step and throws from a 3/4 arm angle 84 mph across the diamond. Shows quick feet behind the plate, receiving with one hand showing an accurate throwing arm. Pop time 1.97-2.01 throwing 75 mph. 
Swing: At the plate sets up with a tall open stance with quiet hands. Steps into the pitch swinging aggressively uphill. Shows a violent cut with pop. Drives the ball to the pull side. 89 mph exit velocity with wood. 


5-foot-11, 160 pound two way prospect has a physically mature body as a freshman. At the plate allows the ball to travel deeper in the zone working the opposite field. Has the bat speed to not get beat on the inner half as well. Ball jumps his bat with a loud sound. On the mound is raw with apparent arm strength. Throws from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 74-76 mph with arm side movement. Curve has an 11/5 shape with early break 66-68 mph and a straight 55-58 mph change up. Behind the plate receives well, while throwing down to 2B from a high arm slot.

2017 Junior Future Games - Physically strong two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed, short arm action, ¾ slot. Fastball, 72-74 mph, touched 76. Curveball, shape varied between 11/5 and 10/4, feel and confident in, 60-64 mph. Changeup, fade action, 58 mph. Offensively, hit two home runs on the day, one to right center and one to left center. Defensively, behind the plate, traditional catcher’s arm action, short, over-the-top, recorded a 2.09 pop time in between innings.

In the field shows good lateral quickness while throwing sidearm. 64 mph infield velo. Popped a 2.42-2.50 to 2B. Quick hands and smooth load at the plate.
