6-foot-4, 185-pound wiry framed prospect had a strong showing amongst the best showcasing why he is one of the state’s top players. At the plate uses his height to gain leverage making hard contact with lift. In the field plays a calm 3B showing the ability to move from behind the plate and off the mound. On the mound he excels while pounding the zone his fastball sat 85-87 mph and touched 89 mph a few times. Hard breaking slider 76-78 mph and a late breaking splitter 76-78 mph. Zimmer will be a name to continue watching over the next few years.

6-foot-3, 180 pound long leg and wide shoulder prospect has a lot of room to continue filling out his frame. Raw at the moment but the talent is apparent. At the plate stands tall keeping his hands back and close to his body. Using a front leg load he swings with a loose top hand release. Makes good contact showing power potential to the pull side. Behind the plate receives with one hand showing good arm strength throwing down to 2B. On the mound is where he shows the most comfort standing tall, with mound presence. Steps left, accelerating his wind up throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball powered down in the zone while showing arm side run sat 81-84 mph. Hard breaking curve from an 11/5 angle 67-69 mph. Change up is deceptive with drop 74-75 mph.
